I bought this book on a recommendation from a friend, and I am glad that I did. Tina Marie has a fresh and invigorating writing style that will captivate you from the opening scene. If you ever wondered why things happen and if there’s really such a thing as coincidences then this book will show you that everything happens for a reason and what is meant to be will be no matter what you do. It is a bloody good mystery, romance and drama filled book–a delightful and smooth read with well-crafted characters like Poppy who will sweep you off your feet. The author creates an addictive storyline that will keep you turning the pages. A roller coaster of emotions will fill your heart. So grab yourself a glass of wine or a hot cup of coffee or whatever your fancy and relax with this tale and twists of fate. I gave the book 5 big stars. It's one of the interesting books I read for quite a while. The story is full of mystery, twist, and exciting characters. It also an easy read, the characters are believable, and if you like reading good women fiction, here is the book. Highly recommended.
I was drawn to this story from beginning to end. Poppy is a remarkable character she strong confident woman with her struggles with her painful memories, all the characters are amazing and captivating. Tina Marie Miller is a talented author this story was beautifully written with surprising plots and twist with love loss and so much more. I highly recommend this extraordinary story a must read.
I found this a nice romantic read and well crafted as to the storyline. Poppy has so much to overcome and she does it quite well. The author wove in a lot of surprise moments and the loose ends were neatly tied. I'm not sure who was in the periphery of those seeing the bride off to the church. I suggest that the author have a good look at the punctuation errors and correct them or hire an editor. Grammar usage was good and only a bit of issues there. There are some cuss words used but not enough to warrant a heads up. Four stars. Loved the storyline.
I was looking for a light but well crafted read, perfect for a day at the beach, and I was not disappointed! It was an easy but emotional read which I felt really encapsulated the title. The plot was very well constructed. Unlike some chick lits, I did not find it predictable, but more importantly it didn’t seem forced or staged, which can take away the reality of the story. Poppy is a very relatable character who has to deal with many ups and downs, but it’s very true to life in this way. She is a strong protagonist from the first page to the last, who embodies a true, career-driven but deeply loving and family-oriented woman. Her struggle to overcome loss brought a tear to my eye, and I particularly identified with the flashbacks which occur in Poppy’s day-to-day activities, sparking painful memories of a loved one who has passed away. I loved, however, seeing Poppy experiencing the good as well as the bad times of life in her touching friendships with the colourful Sally as well as her own father who both support and strengthen her, not to mention her flourishing relationship with the cheeky but ultimately loveable Oliver, who charmed me just as much as Poppy!
I really enjoyed the fact that the book is set partly in the city and partly in the countryside. It gave a real flavour of life in both sides and provided some dramatic tension between Poppy and Oliver through their very differing families. Each little (or big!) twist in the plot was, for me, reflective of the well-thought-out storyline, where the characters were really brought to life by the depiction of their reactions to the events.
Richard is a very likable character as you get to know more about him and his upbringing. His focus on his business is understandable, though it can get in the way of his gentleness at times. His life cleverly collides with Poppy’s through an interesting chain of events which certainly convinced me of the power and beauty of fate.
The writing style was very easy to follow, and this accentuated both the beautiful descriptions of the setting (such as the charming fictional village of Hampton Ash), and the natural dialogue between the characters throughout the book.
I would absolutely recommend this to anyone looking for a beautiful tale of tragedy, romance, friendship and laughter. It made me laugh, it made me cry – what more could you ask for? This author needs to get the recognition they truly deserve and I hope that there will be another story from them soon!

Although it seems to start out like a simple billionaire romance, “Everything Happens for a Reason” is much more than that; it’s the story of a young woman who has to endure various strokes of fate but keeps going until she finally finds happiness and understands that, actually, everything DOES happen for a reason!
An engaging read with lovable characters, a bit melodramatic at times maybe, but with an overall feeling that happiness comes to everyone at long last.
